Yes, that’s right. I’ve increased the pricing on our Facebook Business Pages.
Have you noticed how people are scrambling to jump on the Facebook bandwagon? Lately, it seems anyone that can use a keyboard and has heard of Facebook, thinks they can hang a shingle and flog a Fan page.
Ever heard the saying “You get what you pay for?” What about “If you pay peanuts you get monkeys?”
Now, I’m not saying that’s true for all the discount page spruikers or offshore cookie cutter page factories, but I’ve been in this industry long enough to know the value of great after sales support and the importance of a client being thrilled with what you deliver.
In fact, I’ve been working in the information technology industry for over 15 years. I’ve worked in Banking, Entertainment, Leisure, Law, Utilities, Mining, Defence, Telcommunications, Government, Infrastructure and Tertiary Education. I even have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing.
I’ve managed teams with dozens of people and $45M projects. I’ve successfully established and run a National IT Help Desk for a Global company. I’ve pulled computers apart and put them back together – and they still worked!
I know what I am doing.
A Case Study
We recently worked with a Client who had placed her trust (and cash!) with someone to build her page.
Only, they couldn’t deliver.
Yes, they made the page look pretty but they didn’t understand what goes on “under the hood” to fix a fundamental problem that stopped one key piece of functionality on the page from working.
In fact, this functionality is key as to why you even have a page at all. You see, the problem was not in Facebook but rather within the client’s website.
We spotted the issue right away – that is where experience and knowledge come to the fore.
I only work with serious business owners who value the knowledge and expertise of an online marketer with real world, IT industry skills. Business owners that understand investing in a skill set they lack will allow them to remain focused on their outcomes.
She took the time to find out what I needed, the market it was to fit into, and how it was all to link one strategy to another.
As a result Wendy and her team built the Money Rules Face Book fan page, Twitter, You Tube and Linked In accounts.
But it didn’t stop there.
They have continued to maintain and provide enhancements to those channels way past the initial handover dates.
When my brand is in front of the social media audience, it just has to be right.
There are many new comers offering social media services, but I won’t trust my business or my future to just anyone.
I can only suggest that anyone looking to have their social media done for them, then get on to Wendy Moore.”
