With Pinterest enjoying it’s place as the latest social media darling, making it as quick and easy as possible to pin images and videos you like to your Pinterest boards is always popular.
Enter the Pin It Pinterest button.
Now you can pin your favourite images and videos from any website, without the need to jump across to Pinterest first. All you need to do is add the Pin It button to your Firefox browser.
How to add the Pin It button to Firefox
First head to your Pinterest account.
In the top right hand side of your Pinterest account, find the menu item ABOUT. Click the About link.
Once the page loads, choose Goodies on the left column in the next page.
Then scroll to find the heading “Pin It” Button.
There are step by step instructions and a video tutorial on how you can install the button on your browser.
The steps are as follows:
To install the “Pin It” button in Firefox:
- Display your Bookmarks Bar by clicking View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar
- Drag the “Pin It” button to your Bookmarks Toolbar
- When you are browsing the web, push the “Pin It” button to pin an image
After you’ve installed the “Pin It” button, you can start pinning images from ay website and add it to your desired Pinterest pin board.
Pinning an image from a website automatically allows Pinterest to get the link to that particular site. This is to give credit to the source.
