If you’re a regular user of Facebook, the time is bound to come that you wish to remove a post that you’ve written and shared on your Facebook Profile Wall.
You may have made a typo or simply changed your mind about sharing something.
Right now you cannot edit a post (just your comments – see my earlier post here). If you want to change a status update, your only choice is to remove the post and retype it.
But be quick, as a post will immediately show on the news feed of your friends.
To remove a Facebook post from your profile, here’s what to do.
How to remove a Facebook post
To remove a post, hover your mouse on your newly published post.
Then click the pencil icon on the top right beside the star and choose delete from the dropdown menu that appears.
You can only edit the date and location if you want them to appear on your status update.
Otherwise, you just have to delete your original text and create a new post.
