Facebook has rolled out several new features in recent years and one of them now links a user’s Facebook page and his personal profile. This means that the Facebook page you manage can be made visible on your personal profile.

Once logged in to your personal profile, it is now easy to switch and use Facebook as your page. You can do this in two ways. First, you can click the small down arrow at the top right hand of your profile and choose the page you want to use. The second way is by checking the left column on your profile via the Shortcuts and clicking on your page.

Do take note, however, that even though you are now using your Facebook page, you are still logged in as your personal profile. You would know this through the name that shows on the top blue bar of your page.

So when posting on your page, you need to make sure that you are using your page name and not your personal profile. You will know this through the small thumbnail photo that shows on the status update box. If it’s your personal profile that’s showing, you can easily change it by clicking the down arrow on the rightmost part of the status update box and choose the appropriate page name.

Make sure that when you post a status update on your page, you do it using your page and not as your personal profile. This way, your posts will show on the news feed of your followers and not anywhere else. Do this step as well every time you do any activity on your Facebook page. When you are acting as your page, any like or comment you make will show you as your page.

Another way to get more followers to your page is to be more social on Facebook similar to what you do when you’re using your personal profile. As a page, you can now like other pages and comment on posts of other pages. This way, you make your page more visible to followers of other Facebook pages.
