10 Women Entrepreneurs to Follow on Twitter in 2012

Already using Twitter? Follow Wendy Moore for the latest about the platform’s new features, tips and tricks as well as social media updates.

Thousands of people sign up to Twitter every day and on average, 140 million tweets are sent daily.

With these stats in mind, business owners can take advantage of this social media site not only to share their messages but to gather valuable insights from experts.

If you’re new to Twitter and are not sure who to follow, here is my pick for 2012 of top female entrepreneurs worthy of tweeting with.

Some of them are in the 2011 list of Forbes Top 30 women entrepreneurs worth following on Twitter, some I know personally and some just provide good old fashioned solid content.  Enjoy connecting!

Sarah Prout – @sarahprout
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Sarah made the move North in search of warmer climes and the change of scenery has certainly worked.  She’s a bestselling author who writes about the beauty of the Universe, self love and entrepreneurial sparkle.

Valerie Khoo – @valeriekhoo

Carrie Wilkerson – @barefoot_exec
Carrie provides useful, practical tips for small business owners. She is also the host of BarefootExecutive.TV.

Halo Wendy Moore,glad 2 find you on ths space.I’m in my 1st stages as an entrepreneur.Studying a Bachelor in Science degree but each day am becoming more and more busines orienteted.Have met the likes of Robert Kiyosaki and still expecting more and more 2 support ths frequency.REGARDS./Innocent Courage Masumbika.
