Now you can pin your favourite images and videos from any website, without the need to jump across to Pinterest first.  All you need to do is add the Pin It button to your Firefox browser.

There are step by step instructions and a video tutorial on how you can install the button on your browser.

The steps are as follows:

To install the “Pin It” button in Firefox:

  1. Display your Bookmarks Bar by clicking View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar
  2. Drag the “Pin It” button to your Bookmarks Toolbar
  3. When you are browsing the web, push the “Pin It” button to pin an image

After you’ve installed the “Pin It” button, you can start pinning images from ay website and add it to your desired Pinterest pin board.

Pinning an image from a website automatically allows Pinterest to get the link to that particular site. This is to give credit to the source.

If you’re confused about why you would use Pinterest as part of your online business strategy or don’t yet see the benefit of using Pinterest in your business, I can help.  I work with business owners on their social media strategy, showing them exactly how to use social networking sites, such as Pinterest, to get in front of the right target audience and be seen as a thought leader.
