Instagram has become a magnet for countless shoppers looking for great gift ideas for their loved ones and friends. This holiday season, it is a must for businesses to find more ways to attract people willing to buy their products and improve engagement with them.

Here are some steps you can take to ensure Instagram users get updated on your offerings.

Let Them Pick Their Favorite

To increase engagement, one unique way to do this is to let your followers choose their favorite. You can showcase your products or other items or even traditions related to Christmas.

An effective way to do this is to ask a question and post a photo of two similar products next to each other. Use an app or tool when creating a photo with two images. This way, you encourage followers to share their views.

Support a Cause

The holiday season being a time for giving, it would be a good idea to support a cause. You can offer your products at a special price with a portion of it going to your chosen charity.

Or you can start a campaign for a good cause and ask your followers to donate any amount, food, toys or clothing which they can drop off at a specific location. Organizing a garage sale or a fundraising event in your locality is also a great option.

It would also be a good idea to promote your upcoming or current sales and discounts to your products or services. As the holiday season normally means people spending much for gifts and their festivities, many will surely be attracted to your special offerings.

Just make sure to use top quality images and mention your specific sales and promotions. Do add a captivating description with a coupon code and inform customers where they can find your deals.
